The Problem with Time

The problem with time
is passage
Age fifteen, it travels too slowly
Age forty-five, it moves too quickly

Now here, then gone.

The problem with time
is loss
Forgotten memories, vanished people
The body’s tired, the mind drooping

The problem with time
is swiftly fading
from this earth
